Working with the ISCB Student Council has been a truly rewarding experience for me. As part of the web team, I've had the privilege to interact with a fantastic community of individuals who share a common passion for advancing the fields of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. Being part of the ISCBSC feels like being part of a global family, where everyone is supportive and committed to building a stronger community. Attending the Student Council Symposia and organising SCS2020 have been highlights of my time with the organization. It's been incredible to see so many young minds come together to share their research, collaborate, network, and engage in activities that make it an even more fun and memorable experience. I couldn't be more excited to continue my journey with this amazing organization and help shape the future of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology as the ISCBSC’s vice-chair!
